Museum :

July will be the last moment to have the chance to attend and see the magnificent exhibitions in progress in the most beautiful Parisian museums such as :

Manet-Degas, at the Musée d’Orsay (until 23 of July 2023), 

Léon Monet. Frère de l’artiste et collectionneur (Léon Monet. Brother of the artist and collector) at the Musée du Luxembourg (until 16 July 2023), 

Giovanni Bellini at the Musée Jacquemart-André (until 17 July 2023), 

Basquiat x Warhol. Painting 4 hands at the Fondation Louis Vuitton (until 28 August 2023),

and 1997 Fashion Big Bang at the Palais Galliera (until 16 July 2023).

The Philharmonie de Paris is keeping its doors open until 30 July for the Basquiat soundtracks exhibition. 

La Fête Foraine des Tuileries –

During the summer vacations, the Jardin des Tuileries hosts the traditional funfair for two months. The attractions are not free, but some of them allow you to have a magnificent view on Paris and to take beautiful pictures of the Eiffel Tower or the Sacré Coeur.

Bastille Day Celebrations & Fireworks 2023

July 14th is a very important day in France. It is a day of celebration of the storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789, an important date of the French Revolution!

This day starts with a military parade from the Champs-Elysées, to the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde. All along the parade military planes fly overhead.  In the evening a spectacular fireworks display takes place at the Eiffle Tower on the Champ de Mars.
